Royals bolster Bullpen, Sign Ron Mahay

According to Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal, the Kansas City Royals have signed lefty reliever Ron Mahay to a 2-year deal, worth a reported $8 million, pending a physical. Mahay apparently turned down 3-year offers from other teams, and took a higher annual salary from the Royals instead. Seems to be becoming a theme for players this offseason (A. Jones, H. Kuroda).
Mahay is 36 years old, but did go 3-0 last season with a 2.55 ERA, while pitching for both the Texas Rangers and the Atlanta Braves. He has a career ERA of 3.77.

Ron Mahay was a replacement player for the Red Sox in 1994. Weird, huh?
Get over the 114 year old replacement player and give credit where credit is due. he wasn’t even a pitcher at the time — people have no knowledge! This gusy deserves money and to make the all star team — everyone in baseball should stop being pansy’s being cancers in the clubhouse and act like ron mahay a class act!
