  1. zzzzzzzzzzz can we star the freaking season already?

  2. Am I the only one who noticed that neither Adam Jones nor Carlos Gomez, both centerpieces for the two biggest trades this off season, made the list?

  3. I noticed that too, Fred. I was shocked at Jones - maybe he didn’t qualify as a “prospect” anymore?

As for the Twins, they just completely dropped the ball with Santana.

  4. Jones is a couple of ABs over the limit, I think Gomez doesn’t qualify either mostly because he’s time up was not in Septemeber.

  5. Fernando Martinez will definitely be the Mets starting left fielder by July 2009. No way his ETA is 2010, especially since the Mets are about to stock the farm with three first-rounders.

  6. Gomez does qualify, he’s about 60th. Poor Twinkies.

  7. what about bruce

  8. he derserves some talk

  9. Bruce is gross, top OF in the minors according to many. Unfortunately, with the signing of Patterson, we probably won”t see him until late August or September.

  10. which is stupid. someone should fleece the Reds right now.

  11. Every mediocre pitcher on the market already took care of that.

  12. How the hell is Chamberlain #3? That’s ridiculous. He had one nice season. He was nothing before that. No one had ever heard of him. Chamberlain is gonna be the biggest bust in NY since Mo Vaughn.
