Clay Buchholz has a New Pet
As noted by the Boston Herald, life is pretty spectacular right now for 23-year old Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz. If you remember, Clay threw a no-hitter in just his 2nd ever major-league start last September, becoming the first Red Sox pitcher to ever complete that feat. In his 4 total apperances in 2007 (3 starts), Buchholz posted a 3-1 record, to go along with a 1.59 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and .184 batting average against. And the Red Sox went on to win a World Championship. Impressive, right? Life gets better…
With the back injury sustained by Sox ace Josh Beckett recently, it seems pretty much a gurantee that Buccholz will open the season in the team’s starting rotation. He had a shot to make it anyway, but this might seal it. Of course, Clay would never wish injury on a fellow teammate to get a starting gig, but he wants to be a starter right away, so it’s just another thing to be happy about. However, life gets better…
It now comes out the the rookie phenom is in fact dating Penthouse Magazine’s “Pet of the Year,” Erica Ellyson. According
to the article, Clay’s father confirmed to WZLX yesterday that his son and the 23-year old centerfold have been spending a lot of time together. He went on to say, “It doesn’t surprsie me any. Last year up in Boston he was dating a Victoria’s Secret model, so he’s moving up the ladder . . . . I mean, he’s got pretty good taste.” Add the fact that Ellyson seems to have told Howard Stern that she was sleeping with someone on the Red Sox, and we have a match. On her MySpace page, she apparently lists “being naked and spanking” as some of her interests. She is also open to making out with other women naked in front of Stern it seems, as well. Clay… you are one lucky dude! Life doesn’t get any better…

Hey, can I get me some of that? She can’t cost as much as my last one.
Ha…Nice ball.
And this is why I wish I’d stuck with baseball. Being 6′2″ at age 12 made it just to tempting to switch to basketball. Unfortunately, 10 years later, I only added a couple inches, and going from the biggest player in any league I played in to an average sized shooting guard just wasn’t going to work for me. I do still throw a pretty mean hook though….
As good as the Kershaw hook in the Dodgers outlook??
Haha if only….
