According to Dodgers.mlb.com, Dodgers’ veteran second baseman Jeff Kent took some batting and fielding practice on Saturday, but left early due to some “tightness” in his injured hamstring.

Joe Torre said Kent was “disappointed”. It is not yet known if Kent will be ready for opening day, as the Dodgers do not want to rush Kent to return.
