Red Sox, Dodgers Make Minor Trade

As per MLB.com, the Boston Red Sox have acquired right-handed pitcher Eric Hull from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for minor league shortstop Christian Lara.
Hull had been designated for assignment March 31st by LA. The 28-year-old pitched in 5 games for the Dodgers last year (6.2 IP, 3 ER, 5 K’s) and spent the rest of the season at Triple-A Las Vegas, where he had a 2.74 ERA.
Lara, a 23-year-old out of Venezuela, entered his 6th minor league season this year with a .258 career batting average. He had been playing at Class A and is known for his above average defense.
