Rolen to Return to Jays Friday
UPDATE: (4/24) 11:04pm (EST) - The Blue Jays are expected to activate Rolen on Friday. Rolen has gone 0-9 during his stint in A-ball, but the Jays seem to be desperate for his services. Rolen says he still has a “significant bone bruise”, but he wants to play.

According to Jordan Bastian at MLB.com, third baseman Scott Rolen is making strides towards a return to the big-league club. On Sunday, he played with Class A Dunedin, his first minor-league appearance since he broke the middle finger on his right hand.
Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi said that the organization’s plan was for Rolen to play in minor-league games on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. After that, he will be re-evaluated by the team. Rolen, 33, suffered the injury on March 23rd, and underwent surgery the following day.
When he does return to the lineup, he is expected to serve as the team’s third baseman right away. The Jays could use his bat now that the team has released aging slugger Frank Thomas.

Hope Rolen regains his offensive from past years with the Red Birds and the Jays need it dearly also.
U R right RollingWave, those 1st 2 you listed in the “injury list” are definite candidates to go down for them, along with Rolen again..
