Dodgers Release Mike Myers

According to Tony Jackson at the Los Angeles Daily News, the Dodgers released left-handed sidearm reliever Mike Myers. Myers had agreed to pitch for the organization’s AAA affiliate in Vegas until he was called-up to the bigs, but after the Dodgers promoted Cory Wade from AA on Thursday, Myers got the feeling he was never really going to get his promotion. So he ended up requesting his release from the organization, and was obviously granted it.

  1. This guy just keeps resurfacing, rejuvenated again and again. Would not surprise me if he hung on and made a comeback again and helped someone else.
He can be really nasty on lefty’s when he can throw strikes.
