Reds Promote LHP Bill Bray

According to John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Reds have called-up left-handed reliever Bill Bray, who was optioned down to the minors (AAA) the day before camp broke in Spring Training. In 8 appearances for Triple-A Louisville, Bray had a record of 0-0, with 1 save, 14 K’s in 8 1/3 innings, and a .133 opponent’s batting average.
To make room for Bray on the Reds’ roster, the team sent reliever Todd Coffey down to Louisville. Coffey had an awful 6.46 ERA in 14 apperances for the big-league club this season.
