According to the piece, the Dodgers are seeking an emergency replacement for Furcal, who it hitting .366 with 34 runs scored so far this season. If they can’t find said replacement by Tuesday’s showdown with the Milwaukee Brewers, the team is expected to purchase Luis Maza from their Triple-A affiliate in Vegas.
