Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Ian Snell was sent for an MRI after complaining of a sore shoulder after his most recent start this past Sunday. The Pirates hope this is nothing serious, obviously.

Snell has been terrible this season. While the Pirates insist this was not an issue prior to Sunday’s outing, I would wonder if something has been nagging Snell for a majority of the season. He is 3-7, with a 5.99 ERA. He has allowed 116 hits in only 85 2/3 IP.
